Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer
The course is built around integration patterns rather than a feature tour. Each module starts from a problem an enterprise actually has — a nightly file drop that must reach a database, a REST client that needs a SOAP backend, an ERP object that must stay in step with a third-party system — and works through the design that solves it, including what happens when it fails at three in the morning.
Fault handling, retry semantics and monitoring are treated as core material rather than an appendix. Integrations that work on a clean run are straightforward; integrations that recover predictably under partial failure are what separates a developer from a beginner, and they are what the scenario-based exam questions test.
Delegates build three portfolio-grade integrations during the course: a scheduled file-to-database flow with incremental runs, a REST orchestration fronting a SOAP backend with mapping and error handling, and an ERP connector demonstrating retries and alerting. Each is exportable and can be shown to an employer or client.
