Oracle Apps DBA (EBS 12.2 on OCI)
The course is built in two halves. The first establishes EBS 12.2 administration properly: the online patching architecture, the file system and edition model, cloning, and the technology stack. The second moves that estate to OCI and covers what changes.
The technology stack material is treated seriously rather than skimmed. EBS 12.2 introduced editioned objects, dual file systems and the ADOP cycle, and an Apps DBA who does not understand what a cutover actually does to the database will eventually cause an outage.
Certification currency is a running theme, because it governs what an Apps DBA is allowed to do. Delegates learn to read the EBS certification matrix, check My Oracle Support notes before an upgrade, and plan around Oracle's release policy — including the recent change restricting OCI Console access to only the latest 19c and 26ai database images.
